Brief
This house requires a complete overhaul and modernisation. We are creating an open plan kitchen, adding an underfloor heating system, new electrics/lighting throughout, modernising the bathrooms, bi-fold doors, and all walls/ceilings plastered and skimmed.
Overview
This house has great proportions but a lot of interior walls makes a slightly cramped feel. We have started by taking down a few interior walls to open out the space to create a kitchen/dining rooms. The kitchen designers are coming in soon to design a modern and efficient family kitchen. We will be adding bi-fold doors to open onto the private garden, and also to open onto the front of the property which faces south (and also the seaside). Upstairs needs no major construction work other then electrics, plastering over artex ceilings, and also updating the 90’s style bathroom. Downstairs we will be added a contemporary wood cladding to one of the interiors walls which will add warmth and interest to the large room.
