BRIEF
This house is situated one road back from the seafront and receives a great deal of weathering throughout the year. The original rendering was no longer fit for purpose, and neither were the thin metal frame windows.
OVERVIEW
We are starting to replace all of the original metal frame and UPVC windows with the watertight, windproof dark grey frame windows. These new windows are a slight wood grain in the finish which gives a very modern look.
The entire roof is being replaced with dark grey slate tiles. The roof alone will dramatically help with insulation and heat loss.
The exterior walls have had a few renders applied over the years. We plan to repair some areas, and then re-render the entire facade in a render specifically designed for seaside houses.
