OVERVIEW

You might recognise this property from some previous work we did. Now we are back and are working on creating a flexible working solution for the garage room. In the back garden we will be redesigning the ‘shed’ plus some grounds work, and an outdoor shower. Out the front of the property we will be digging the whole driveway with chippings, block pavers, and a terrace area with a glass balustrade.

BRIEF

  • reconfigure garage room by putting in stud wall to create two rooms: a home office and a home gym
  • redesign shed in corner of the garden and incorporating a stone wall, extend the roof and fit new rationale doors and windows, and install two sky lights
  • level and flatten back garden by 2ft and lay a large foundation for a ‘garden pod’ with a sand stone retaining wall
  • lay a base for a hot tub
  • fit an outdoor shower, plus dog shower head, and age the pipework

MID WAY THROUGH PROJECT

COMPLETED PROJECT

  • The patio from the house is the same height as the inside flooring. This gives a seamless transition to the outside. The glass balustrade also adds to the inside-outside look and feel.
  • These planters are a great way to create a secluded dining area
  • The flower planters are finished with a grey slate complimenting the grey driveway border and pavers
  • There is a grey stone border around all the edges, plus the flower beds and entrance porch
